๐ซ๐ท Paris Masters Favorites!
Hey, Tennis Pro! It is Tuesday!
Simon carries on! Yesterday in Paris, there was an extremely emotional moment for those attending Gillou Simon's so-called professional โlast matchโ. Considering his confrontation against Andy Murray was not ideal for him, and even less so with his H2H record of 2-16 for the Frenchmanm, the odds were not so much on his favor. However, in a match where elegance and experience were predominant players on the courts of Paris, the local Simon managed to overcome for just the third time in nineteen games against the world's favorite British tennis player. It seems that Simon's "last game" will have to wait for another occasion, since he will seek to continue surprising the French during the week.

Usually, when I look at the championship odds for each tournament, the trend tends to be clear in favor of the first seeds of each event. However, Paris shows an exception with a mixed draw and the presence of the best players on Tour, both new and veteran. Kinda weird to see Felix Auger Aliassime with such poor odds, taking into account his most recent performances.
Although, it is not entirely surprising to see Nole above Nadal or Alcaraz in the predictions, since Djokovic has had a winning streak since the Grand Slam season ended in New York at the beginning of September, where the Serb's absence shone due to vaccination reasons. In fact, Novak has a streak of three championships in a row, winning Wimbledon in June and more recently Tel Aviv and Astana in the last month. Novak is a favorite and deserves it, even if the ranking does not reflect it.

Spread out the Danish fever!
All hail Holger Rune, first of his name, protector of Copenhagen's Mermaid statue, Lord of the forehand winners and big promises, King of the Danish tennis and the Possessor of the highest rank in Denmark's history.
HOL-GER RUNE!
It's easy to forget nowadays about young players on tour with immense talent with big names like Alcaraz, Auger Aliassime or Sinner all over the place. However, little by little and with a lot of discipline and maturity, the Danish Rune has just made the jump to the Top 20 in the most recent update of the ATP ranking.
At just 19 years old, Holger became the fourth man born in the 2000s to break the barrier of the top twenty tennis players in the world. This recognition comes by with the highest ranking a Denmark born man has achieved in history. All this at just 19 years old. Still with the hype with Alcaraz? Sinner? Aliassime? Just wait for Holger. He's got something to say.
