Hey, Tennis Pro! Happy Wednesday.

October has just started and that cold morning breeze returns when arriving at the tennis court first thing in the morning. I knooow... I know I should have a proper warm up before starting the easy rallies, but I always get up with such a craving to hit the ball that I almost always forget.

However, now with these lower temperatures, giving the court a few laps is 100% essential. The good thing is that the sweating ratio drops dramatically and my grip still feels as tight as a tight pistachio well into the second set.

It is now tradition to see a Top 3 GOAT in the peak performance lists of almost all ATP tournaments. In fact, Nadal only played twice in Tokyo and took the trophy home in his first try in 2010, and went on to lose the second time in the final to a prime Andy Murray the year after. What really blew up my mind is the perfect pace of Sampras with a 3/3 in his appearances on Japanese soil. Just crazy numbers!

Jannik injured bad

The sad news of the week goes to the 21-year-old Italian who recently confirmed his last weekend's injury during the semifinal in Sofia against runner-up Holger Rune. The damn ankle won't leave him alone and it's been taking its toll all year and it looks like it will continue for the rest of 2022.

Through his Twitter, Sinner confirmed his departure from Astana and the withdrawal of his participation in Florence in the following week. Sadly, it seems that Jannik has no choice but to get some good rest and give his body a chance for a full comeback.
