๐Ÿ‘‘ Alcaraz is the Tour King!

Hey, Tennis Pro! It's finally Fridaaay!

Congrats Andrey! The Russian turned 25 yesterday and I think it's time to dedicate a space to him to recognize how much he contributes to the tour. Rublev is a player who is intense on the pitch and focused off it. His time as a professional has been overshadowed by the gigantic presence of Medvedev, who has been in charge of carrying the Russian flag around the world as a pointer. However, Andrey is a complete player, relentless, tireless and who fights until the last minute regardless of adversity. I recognize Andrey's intensity and competitive spirit and wish him the best for the rest of his career. All the best, champ!

As expected, Carlos Alcaraz appears as the most successful tournament winner of the year, both in importance of the tournament (just below Nadal's two Slams) and in the number of trophies to his personal record. Carlos is number one because he has shown it with results. Nothing more to say.

For his part, Casper Ruud has only three ATP 250 tournaments in his pocket, despite the great year he has had on tour with two Grand Slam runners-up. Nole and Rafa, humbly bragging about their three Grand Slams between the two of them and a couple of extra tournaments to round out a winning year. And sadly, the one who looks far below the level he has shown in previous years is Alexander Zverev, obviously affected by his injury. Speedy recovery to Alexander!

100 Hard Wins for Frances

The American Frances Tiafoe is in a great moment and his 100th victory on hard courts comes as a glove to consolidate his good level. Tiafoe just reached his seventh quarter-final of the year and number five in the last seven tournaments. In addition, he is accompanied by a record of 15 wins in his last 17 tie-breaks.

Frances has maintained a significant level rise at the end of the year and is consolidated as one of the best Americans of the moment, just behind the number eight in the ranking, Taylor Fritz. Tiafoe is a powerful and consistent player. He proposes an intense style of play with constant power shots from his serves to his bomb kinda forehands. Congrats on the 100 wins Frances!
